Emotional Awareness


It is generally accepted that the body and the mind are inextricably linked, that all our thoughts and feelings show up in the body. When working with the body it is essential that we give attention how we are thinking and feeling as well. I encourage awareness of what thoughts or feelings are present throughout the sessions. It can be truly enlightening to notice the emotions and ideas that might spontaneously surface whilst we are working with the body. In the sessions there is space to verbally express some of the things that we might notice going on inside. It can give us real insight into ourselves, and how we might be unconsciously acting, and it can help the release of some of things that are no longer needed. If we know more about our unconscious behaviours we can have more conscious choice.
